I am Tushar Barua.

Power System Engineer with 2.5+ years of Experience as the Assistant Manager of POWERtrac BD. Proficient in GIS/AIS, HV/MV Switchgear installation/ commissioning, Power System Protection, Solar System installation. Working on Transmission and Distribution system analysis to understand the impacts of distribution-connected renewable resources (DERs), OPF and Power System Analysis using Co-simulation language. Worked with different regression algorithms for supervised learning. HIghly interested to research on decentralized, bidirectional, smart power system

My Research Experience

Power Flow Modeling

I have been working with the modeling & load flow analysis different bus configurations proposed by IEEE and their responsive behaviours in the event of intermittent renewable power integration using OpenModelica & MatPower.

Renewable Energy

Renewable Energy Potential (Wind & Solar) in Bangladesh. (Presentation on Renewable Energy Symposium at Hotel Agrabad, Chittagong on March 2018)

Internet of Things (IoT)

- Project on Autonomous Solar Irrigation with IoT integration using DTH22 Temperature sensor, ESP8266, Arduino Uno
- Project on Anti Theft GSM Module with sensor data logging to ThingSpeak and different IoT Platforms

Wireless ECG Sensor

Standalone ECG sensor with wireless data transmission to an IoT server using Arduino, ESP8266. The sensor data has been made public and can be checked at "https://chart-studio.plotly.com/~TusharSuvro/41/
